Calin Cruceanu a.k.a. Colin Crossman – Drums
I am a young drummer from Vaslui with an experience of 8 years in the field of percussion and 4 years in the field of keyboards.
I studied many drummers such as Neil Peart, Mike Portnoy, Dave Weckl, Gavin Harrison, Terry Bozzio, Mitch Mitchell, Simon Phillips and Jojo Mayer, thus approaching a multitude of musical genres helped me to develop symmetrically.
So far I have collaborated with eight bands, but the most concerts I had with a project called Hands of Angels, with whom I performed in different cities like Iasi, Sinaia and Bucharest with whom we managed to reach Afterhills. I also performed at the opening of some established bands in the Romanian musical culture, meaning Holograf, Antract, Proconsul, Smiley, Raluka & the Balkanic Project, Lupii lui Calancea. I also performed a concert on the Open Camp stage with Monica Rosu (Next Star finalist).
Last but not least, Mike Vlahopol & Crossroads is the newest project I am a part of and together with my colleagues from The Crossroads I had the honor of playing on the same stage with Steve Clarke, an exceptional jazz- fussion oriented bassist. Steve is recognized throughout U.S.A. and not only.
